Conferences, Keynote Speaking and Workshop Facilitation

As Conference deliverer, Keynote Speaker and Workshop Facilitator, I design professional learning experiences that combine research, reflection, and practical insight. My sessions are crafted to provoke thought, nurture curiosity, and empower educators to translate theory into meaningful Early Years practice.
I have had the privilege of delivering full-day conferences for Multi-academy Trusts, undertaking speaking sessions both as the keynote and supporting speaker, as well as delivering live webinars for organisations including the Confederation of School Trusts and Community Playthings, and facilitating workshops through Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) outreach with the Research Schools Network and Nursery World.

Some of the types of conferences, speaking event I have delivered are
‘The Architecture of play’
"Dialogic domesticity : Progressing vocabulary and questioning in socio-dramatic play”

What makes this journey, so rewarding is that every invitation has grown organically — from people who have seen me speak, experienced my delivery, and wanted to take that learning further. I’m proud that my work has evolved through authentic connection and professional reputation, not through marketing, but because it genuinely speaks for itself.

Keynote Speaking

My keynote sessions inspire and challenge practitioners and leaders to reflect, reframe, and reimagine their practice. Topics have been focused on Inclusion, Primary School Leadership, Establishing school-based nurseries. For example, for Buckinghamshire I wrote “Raising Standards in the Early Years: Improving GLD for Boys Who Need Us Most”, which is on improving practice with Black, Asian and Summer born boys.

Each keynote is tailored to the audience, ensuring it is evidence-informed, contextually relevant, and delivered with warmth, authenticity, and professional credibility.

Workshop Facilitation

My workshops are interactive, reflective, and designed for transformation rather than compliance. They create space for educators to think deeply, collaborate meaningfully, and plan purposeful action.

Workshops blend current research with lived practice and can be tailored for school teams, local authorities, or national networks. Popular sessions include:

All sessions can be delivered in person or online, ranging from 1h and half sessions to half-day and full-day professional learning programmes.

Why This Work Matters

Every keynote and workshop is an invitation to reconnect with purpose — to recognise that leadership in the Early Years is both relational and intellectual.

My approach blends research, reflection, and relational wisdom to ensure every participant leaves inspired, informed, and ready to lead change that lasts
